Horrible customer service. Never had any service orientied company actually personally insult me but Manny sure did. Look elsewhere for hosting because they will take your money and leave you out to dry.

absolute horrible experience with them. I can’t say it enough. They have a phone listed on their site, but don’t answer it. when I fianlly got someone on their AIM suport, he quickly had to “go to his lunch break” when I started asking what was going on. horrible! absolutely horrible.

The support is fast and very importantly COMPETENT , if it is over the intial responder’s head or I should say level of support it is passed on to a higher department immediately .

The uptime has been rather good with the exception of once and even then it was very close to the promised uptime.

So all in all I would have to give hostdime a 4.5 out of 5 stars (if I gave a 5 it would mean you guys were perfect with no room for improvement and as we all know nothing is perfect).

If you are reading this and are looking for a host then give them a try i honestly believe that you will be happy with them.

I hosted my site with these guys for about 3 years. They had excelent uptime and fair service and support. Two downsides that I noticed though. Once the server my site was on crashed totally and my site was unavailable for several days while they relocated everything to a new server. Then once it was back up everything was lost so I had to rebuild my site (luckily I had backups, though they were not super recent.) 2nd downside is that it was sometimes unclear how much disk space or bandwidth I had available since they kept changing it for the level of account I had but the control panel didn’t reflect the changes accurately. I never got chareged for extra though but it made me nervous not knowing.

Any company is only as good as their employees. If my site(s) go down I freak out and want answers immediately. I’m in no mood to get in an email queue and want answers real time and by a real person. So I call. Out of maybe 10 calls over the last year I’ve had 3 bad experiences. When you get a bad employee it can be very frustrating. They have taken care of problems fairly quickly and I’ve managed a problem free existence since I moved to a dedicated server. (Three months now.) They answer when I call. They helped 7 out of 10 times. I guess that’s good overall compared to other hosts I’ve used? There is room for improvement but they don’t totally suck.
