Many many long periods of downtime with no explaination. Tech support is never there, never returns emails, never returns calls, never updates trouble tickets, never watches forum.
Forum moderators spend extensive time deleating “complaint” emails every day from their forum.
Could never recomend to someone who relies on uptime and support.
First 30 days were like horror. Site was down every day, speed was extremly slow, support always offline. When I try to receive back my money (they offer 30 -day money back) they told that all work fine. I request my money back during few days and did not get it. After that 2 weeks sites work normal. Very soon there was down time (almost all day). Today all my sites down almost all day too, existhosting site is down too. I send 2 letters to support and did not get any reply. You think that’s good? I think this company should left this business.
After their newly introduced hosting platform and new support staff, this host is the best I have ever had… They are simply the best

Recently i have signed up with the above company!
Everything was looking good untill the signup completed, then started the problems, that they had serious problems with the DNS and Apache .. where my website configuration didnt get done..
After many mails, with failures i opt out for a full refund 30 day money back guarantee (which they boasting in their site) within a week of the signup.. (my 1 year full hosting fee).
When i wanted to cancel the service in order to look for a another reliable host,then existhosting started showing their true face… and i was totally ignored… no refund was given… and only i received a mail saying your account has been cancelled…
The phonelines being answered by a ‘computer’ and never gets through to customer services.
Now 3 months from now on.. still they havent given my moneyback.. and not replying to my emails…
Since i used paypal to pay for the hosting, due to this falls under service category, they cannot do anything about it.. sadly it seems i lost my money!
What a host with this much dis-honesty.
Please guys DO NOT signup with these guys, they are cool talking untill they get your money, and you wont get a service.
Tell your friends not to signup as well.
my only intention is to make other aware of it, & do not want anyone to fall out of pocket…just like me..

I can only agree. This hosting company is REICULOUS, lots of problems, no calls are answered, no eamils replied to. AVOID, AVOID AVOID!!
Since I signed up with this company, I was completely happy. They help me every step of the way and still do. I recommend them to anyone for web hosting. They are GREAT !
Tech support can’t speak english, has little technical background, they delete complaint and support threads off the forums. Frequent downtime. My SQL server IP changed twice this week, the DNS stopped responding thrice, etc.

I have been with exist hosting for 2 years now and am very satisfied. I’m very surprised to see these bad reviews as I had no problem with their service and if there was one, there was so many ways to get support (e-mail, ticket center, 1-800 line, online chat clerk) that I never had any problems getting quick response from them.
I remember at one point they restructured all their hosting platform and there was some problems and downtime, but since they integrated the new platfom, their hosting and support just got better!!!
I recommend Exist Hosting to anyone that is looking for a good, cheap, support effective web hosting company.

Customer service is absolutely terrible. I had a major problem with my dedicated server and tried to call them everyday for over a week straight and nobody ever answered. I left voicemails and sent multiple emails and 4 weeks went by without getting my problem fixed. The few times they did answer my emails, the technical support staff would respond with such stupid comments as if they knew nothing about computers. It seemed as if they didnt even pass elementary school, let alone know how to administer a computer. I wouldnt recommend Exist to my worst enemy. Stay away.
I have been satisfied with EXIST. Service has been reliable as well as billing. Can’t really complain about this company. I have tried many Virtual Hosts and have found them to be the most reliable so far, especialy for the price.

Exist systems and methods were completely revamped last September, exactly when I was about to cancel my account. I gave them a last chance and I must admit I was impressed by the new level of service. Past nightmares regarding inexistent customer support and low server uptime seemed to be a thing of the past.
However, for the last month and a half, Exist has went back to its old tricks. Server uptime is HORRIBLE again. My PHP websites usually get an unacceptable 80%, and many days my ASP websites are way below 70%! I have suffered downtimes spanning up to 12 hours (!), with little or no explanation from support department. Their answers are usually unprofessional (read: LAME), so I’m finally looking for an alternative. IMHO, if uptime and reliable customer support is important to you, you should not call Exist Hosting.

It took 10 days to set my deicated server up! heck they took my money and i didnt even know if the thing went thru no confirmation emails or anything……. they dont answer phone. Oh the live chat is just for show it does not EXIST
trying to cancel my server…… started 20 days ago. they have all there information they need…. Sorry sir we are not following your requests???? I said CANCEL MY SERVER
